High-performance film evolved from DLC: Ultra-mirror ICF

High-performance membrane ICF controls surface roughness to achieve ultra-mirror ICF coating!

By designing optimal conditions using a special ion source in a vacuum, we have controlled surface roughness and achieved ultra-mirror ICF coating. Applications of ultra-mirror ICF include aspheric lens molds, ultra-fine processing tools, and precision molds. These components require extremely high precision in surface roughness, and it is essential to minimize the impact of film defects and droplets on the molded products. Ultra-mirror ICF has been developed to meet these needs. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

High-performance membrane heat-resistant ICF 'ICF Red' DLC

High-performance membrane ICF developed for use in high-temperature environments with heat-resistant ICF.

To enable use in high-temperature environments, which has been a challenge for conventional DLC, we have developed heat-resistant ICF. The heat-resistant ICF maintains a friction coefficient of 0.1 even in high-temperature environments of 500°C and can sustain a hardness higher than that of superhard alloys. Additionally, when heated under conditions of 450°C in the atmosphere, the lifespan of conventional DLC films was three weeks, whereas the heat-resistant ICF has a lifespan of three months, improving durability by four times. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

High-performance membrane ICF for aluminum alloy "ICF Silver" DLC

With optimal intermediate layer design, coatings compatible with various aluminum alloys are made possible!

Conventional DLC coatings have struggled to achieve good adhesion to aluminum alloys. Aluminum alloys are prone to oxidation and contain various elements, making it important to select the optimal intermediate layer for the interface between the LC film and the substrate. The ICF for aluminum alloys has enabled ICF coatings that are compatible with various aluminum alloys through optimal intermediate layer design. It is possible to design optimal intermediate layers for A1050, A2017, A2024, A4032, A5052, A5083, A6061, A6N01, and A7075. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

High-performance membrane Environmentally harmonious ICF 'ICF Green' DLC

It is possible to form a film on a large area as an alternative to chrome plating on rolls and as various metal elution prevention films!

The RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive prohibits the use of six specific substances in electrical and electronic equipment products handled within the European Union (EU). In response to this, various coatings have begun to attract attention as alternatives to chrome plating that contains hexavalent chromium. Environmentally friendly ICF is very useful as a substitute for various parts where traditional chrome plating has been used. Additionally, the friction coefficient of environmentally friendly ICF is significantly lower than that of chrome plating, and it also has high hardness, making it excellent in wear resistance. High-performance membrane biocompatible ICF 'ICF White' DLC

It is possible to control film quality, hardness, internal stress, and biocompatibility using the ion plating method.

The ionization deposition method allows for appropriate control of film quality, enabling a wide range of hardness and internal stress control, as well as biocompatibility control. This makes it possible to deposit films on various materials and utilize them as highly biocompatible coatings. Additionally, Ni dental orthodontic wires have also been considered as another application, and it has been reported that this method is effective in preventing Ni elution. High-performance membrane water-repellent ICF 'ICF Yellow' DLC

High-performance membrane ICF doped with fluorine to impart water-repellent properties to the membrane.

By utilizing fluorine (F) doping and innovative coating conditions, we have imparted a water-repellent property similar to Teflon to DLC films. With a hardness equivalent to that of cemented carbide (1000HV) and a low friction coefficient (0.04 to 0.17), it has become possible to process water-repellent ICFs. This helps prevent mold contamination and contributes to increased productivity. Additionally, due to the deep black color of the film, it is also used as an anti-reflective coating for image recognition stages and guides. Infrared Transmitting Film Optical ICF 'ICF Ultra Violet' DLC

It is now possible to absorb ultraviolet light and improve the transmission of wavelengths in the visible and infrared regions!

Various doping techniques have made it possible to absorb ultraviolet light and improve the transmission of wavelengths in the visible and infrared regions. In the infrared region, a reduction in the attenuation coefficient to about half that of conventional products has been achieved. This can be applied to various optical filters and other uses that require wear resistance. Additionally, since the bandgap can be controlled from 0.8 to 2.2 eV, applications in light sensors and other areas are also possible. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

High-performance membrane Insulating ICF 'ICF Ocean' DLC

Improving insulation with doping technology and negative pulse bias ion plating method!

The high-performance film ICF, evolved from DLC, can be widely controlled from conductivity to insulation, allowing for control of resistivity. Conductive ICF is useful for electrostatic measures and electrode protective films, achieving both corrosion resistance, low friction, prevention of solder adhesion, and high hardness along with conductivity. Additionally, the PBIP method enables film formation on various materials, and by controlling the structure of the film, hardness can be controlled over a wide range of 7 to 22 GPa, allowing for selection based on applications and substrates. This enables the achievement of high adhesion and insulation. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
